March Break Plans

March 10th, the program will run as usual

March 17th, The Game is Fun, all Tykes are on the ice at Bayview from 9-9.50am

Tyke 1 - Learn to Skate and Play (2005-2007)

Part 1: Runs each Saturday from October 15th to December 17th, 11.30am to 12.15pm.

** All players participate in activities designed by Hockey Canada to teach them to skate, and to skate with skills for hockey..

Part 2: Runs each Saturday January 7th to March 31st, 11.30am to 12.15pm. The program is varied during March Break.

** Non-skaters will continue their program of supported learning to get onto their feet and to move around in hockey equipment. One third to one half of the ice surface and coaches will be designated for these children.

** Players who are now skating, will have fun with a program of games on the other half or two-thirds ice designed to provide the experience of playing without the long distances of full ice games.

Tyke 2 - Learn to Play and Games (2004-2006)

Part 1: Runs each Saturday from October 15th to Dec 17th, 12.15pm to 1.00pm.

** Players are all skating and will participate in skills and drills, with a scrimmage included each Saturday.

Part 2: Runs each Saturday January 7th to March 31st 12.15pm to 1.00pm. The program is varied during March Break.

** After a good warm-up, players will all participate in full-ice hockey games, referees and timekeepers and buzzers..
