The Adult Mixed Slow Pitch league has been playing games at the Hendon Park diamonds for over 10 years. The league is an 8 team recreational league that plays on Sunday evenings throughout the summer and into September. The teams are each made up of 10 men and 5 women players. Everyone who comes out gets to play in the 10 fielder rotation and is part of the batting order. The league is surprisingly competitive considering that most of the players come out primarily for the enjoyment of the game. Players range in age from their late teens to their early 60’s and there is a range of baseball skills. Registration for the league generally starts in March and most of the teams are full by the end of April. Efforts are made to ensure that players who want to play together are able to do so. Sometimes there is a space for individual players right up to the start of the season at the end of May and the league keeps a waiting list when it is full because there are often one or two players who cannot play at the last minute.

Games Location: Hendon Park diamonds behind the Kiss 'N Ride at the Finch Subway Station.
Time: Sunday: 2 hours between 5 and 10:30 pm every weekend except long weekends.
